If you are interested in working in the sports/entertainment field, then you will want to mark your calendars. On April 4th, Spurs Sports and Entertainment will host a career fair.
SSE not only owns the Spurs, but the AAA San Antonio Rampage hockey team and the WNBA's Silver Stars. There will also be representatives of these teams plus other regional teams such as the Houston Aeros (the same league as the Rampage), FC Dallas Soccer Club, the Austin Toros and others.
The event will be held from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the AT&T Center. Jobs that will be covered include human resources, ushering, internships, communications, sales, public relations, broadcasting and facility services.
Unfortunately, the event is not free. There is a $15 fee, but that does include a free ticket to that night's Rampage hockey game.
