Laid Off? Schedule Interviews with Free Franklin Covey Planner

By March 19, 2009

Franklin Covey makes great schedulers and planner books, and they are doing something which I think is worthy of its own blog post in these hard economic times.

If you have been recently laid off your job, you can get a free planner from Franklin Covey one day only, this Saturday March 21, 2009. All you have to do is fill in your name, company and contact information from someone from that company that can vouch for your job loss. Then the planner is yours.

You have to go to an actual Franklin Covey store in order to take advantage of the offer. Many office supply companies sell FC planners but only actual FC store locations will give out the free planner.

Luckily there is a location here in San Antonio, at North Star Mall. For a map and store directions, visit their website and spread the word to anyone you know who can take advantage of this offer.

If you would like to implement some of Stephen Covey’s best ideas, you can use this web aplication:

http://www.Gtdagenda.com

You can use it to manage and prioritize your Goals (in each of your life’s categories), projects and tasks, in an intuitive interface. It has a Checklists section, for the repetitive activities you have to do, important but not urgent (Quadrant II, for example your routines/habits). Also, it features a Schedules section and a Calendar, for scheduling you time, activities and for the weekly review.

Some features from GTD are also present, like Contexts and Next Actions.

And it’s available on the mobile phone too, so you can access it wherever you are.

I was layoff and I wonder if you still have the free planner
