After a brief practice this morning, the Dallas Cowboys are headed home to Dallas and their brand-new, state-of-the-art stadium. Which will actually be used tonight by Paul McCartney for a concert.
And it seems like everyone is eager to go home. Not because they hate San Antonio (thankfully!) but because they hate training camp or just want to be near the ones they love. Or, as Bradie James says in an article posted today on DallasCowboys.com, he just wants to sleep in his own bed.
Can you believe it has been over three weeks now that the Cowboys have been practicing here in the city? With 31 practices spread over 22 days, this was hardly the "Camp Cupcake" that many called past training camps. It was tough, brutal and hopefully whipped the 'Boys into shape for this season. How do you feel about the team's chances without TO and with Romo set to take a bigger leadership role?
