As always, you can check the Calendar of Events to see what to do this weekend. But I am spotlighting this next event because it only happens once a year and is a whole lot of fun ... even for those that don't drink beer regularly.
The San Antonio Current Alefest 2009 is this Saturday (October 17, 2009). It is what it sounds like -- a festival celebrating ale and other brews. There are over 100 beers available from Texas brewers. There will also be food, non-alcoholic beverages, live music and more. The fun begins at HemisFair Park starting at 1:00 p.m.
