Grace Period for Unpaid Tickets is Almost Up

By March 3, 2010

You probably hear about it every year--the city of San Antonio (amongst many others in Texas) do a warrant roundup and arrest those with unpaid violations such as traffic tickets or other misdemeanors.

This year's roundup will occur soon, but the city is offering a grace period that ends on March 5, 2010. If you have an unpaid Class C Misdemeanors, get them paid up by this date, or else starting March 6th, you may be arrested.

There are currently over 300,000 warrants that need to be paid. If you are unsure if you have a warrant, call either 207-2023 or 207-2025 to find out.

If you do indeed have a warrant, you have two ways to pay up before facing jail. Either go down to San Antonio Municipal Court at 401 S. Frio on Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, or visit a Community Link Center.
