If you love beer and have no plans this weekend, have I got a great idea for you. Even if you have plans, you may want to change them just for this! The Alamo City Cerveza kicks off with a reception tomorrow (or probably today by the time most of you read this) April 9th at 7:00 p.m. at the Freetail Brewing Co. It is followed by the Brewer's Olympics at 8:oo p.m.
The next day, Saturday April 10th, get up bright and early and be at the Blue Star Brewing Company at 9:00 a.m. for the judging of the beers followed by a talk with John Palmer. Then it's time for the real fun--the tasting of the beers with a pub crawl that begins at 2:30 p.m.
Follow all this up at 7:00 p.m. with dinner and a talk with Jeff Stuffings of the Jester King Brewery.
Bars participating in the pub crawl include Zuckerman's Beer Emporium and Museum, the Tap Exchange, PediCab Bar/La Tuna and more.
