Just getting a card or letter from back home can be a big morale and mood booster for one of our service men or women serving overseas. This is especially true of those in war zones like Iraq or Afghanistan. So imagine how they would feel if they got an entire care package?
HEB and IBC banks are teaming up to encourage San Antonians to donate by setting up approximately 225 stations that will accept donations between now and July 4th, 2010.
Locally, there are 45 IBC branches that will be open for either pre-assembled care bags that can be purchased at HEB or monetary donations that will be used to help buy the items and ship them overseas.
This is the third year that the companies are teaming up for this cause. Will you be making a donation?
