Austin-based American Campus Communities has announced a new $35 million apartment complex for the University of Texas at San Antonio.
The new complex should be done in time for the fall 2011 semester and will feature 792 private 1-bed, 1-bath residences in a townhouse style. The entire project will consist of 14 buildings and will include a gym, computer lab, lounge, and resort-style swimming pool.
As UTSA continues to grow in enrollment each year, more housing that is student-friendly (particularly with a computer lab) is much needed. You can read more about the project at the San Antonio Business Journal.
