It's been several days since I blogged about the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp 2010, which is being held right here in San Antonio. There are a sizeable (though still a minority) amount of people who hate the Cowboys, so the break was probably welcome for them. However, this blog is about the latest from the 'Boys.
It seems like Roy Williams and apparently anti-hazing rookie Dez Bryant seemed to have worked their differences out after Bryant refused to carry Williams' pads, a rookie hazing ritual. I believe this is not a huge deal, although Bryant should take his rookie lumps. If this was any other team or any other players, this probably would not have been a big deal.
The defensive line got a boost today with the signing of Jimmy Sadler-McQueen and former UTSA RoadRunner Teddy Williams. They released Delbert Alvarado and Lorenzo Washington to make room on the roster.
Martellus Bennett should be back in pads on Friday, returning after a sprained ankle that has sidelined him. NFL officials were in San Antonio to help the Cowboys and their staff understand some rule changes for the upcoming 2010 season.
