A lot of people who don't have kids might not realize that today is the first day of school. It sure came quickly, didn't it? So this is just a friendly reminder to those who maybe didn't know this tidbit of information to watch your speed in school zones--not because you could get a ticket (which you could) but for the safety of the kids.
What will all you stay-at-home parents be doing today now that your kids are done with summer vacation? I know my sister said that she would be happy for a few hours then get bored. I don't have kids so it's just another day to me, but I know some moms who have big plans to do nothing and relax today.
Whatever your plans, have at it ... you surely deserve it!
