Recently, Portfolio.com did a study of the biggest metro areas in the United States to see which ones were stressing people out and which ones were a breeze to live in. The results were mostly unsurprising.
Out of 50 metro areas surveyed, Detroit with it's high unemployment, crime, and foreclosure rate ranked #1 on a list where you don't want to be number one. Los Angeles, plagued by some of those same issues, came in second.
San Antonio came in at #43, meaning we are relatively stress-free compared to Detroit.
Many factors were figured into these rankings such as jobs, crimes, pollution and even number of sunny days. Heck, on that last one alone we could be dead last on the stress meter!
Salt Lake City was number 50, making it the least-stressful of the top 50 metro areas in the country.
Do you agree with the rankings?
