Rain Totals for Septemer—So Far

By September 23, 2010

As of today, September of 2010 is officially the 7th wettest month on record. That may not seem like a lot but when you consider that there is still a week left in the month and a chance of rain today and tomorrow, that tally could go up significantly. Also bear in mind that these totals have been recorded since 1882, so 7th wettest in nearly 130 years is pretty big.

If you are like me, you realize the Aquifer needed the rain. But, with brownouts, blackouts, and cable outages, this all gets very old. If only there was a way to get the rain without the hassles ... a girl who needs her Internet connection for work can dream!

There is a 20% chance today and up to a 40% chance of rain tomorrow. Since the tally stands at 9 inches of rain at the airport, anyone want to take a guess where it may stand by the end of the weekend?
