Calling all filmmakers! If you've got a creative eye, the City of San Antonio's Office of Cultural Affairs has an invitation for you.  Now in its third year, The Neighborhood Film Project 3.0 is now accepting entries for this year's competition. This short film project (between 3 to 8 minutes), celebrates the neighborhoods, people and experiences that make the Alamo City so vibrant and unique.  The deadline for all entries is Friday, February 17 at 3 p.m.

Participants must submit a finished product on DVD for a specific category:

Neighborhood Tours:

-Westside
-Eastside
-Northside
-Southside

Parks and Greenspace:

This is a new category this year, focusing on the City's many parks, open spaces and recreational facilities and programs.

Viva Mi Cultura:

Also new this year, this category is for students only.  The emphasis of this category is to highlight Mexican American culture, families and communities.

Entries are accepted on DVD. Complete rules, information and additional release forms can be found here. Filmmakers must complete a film permit application online prior to filming. You can call 210.207.6568 or 210.207.5798 if you have questions.
