Just in time for the 2012 summer season, SeaWorld's Aquatica is set to open. Park officials say the grand opening is scheduled right before Memorial Day Weekend on May 19, 2012. Like its sister park in Orlando, Florida this South Seas oasis aims to provide a tropical beach side experience complete with sandy beaches, terraced pools and private cabanas.
It aims to be a playful backdrop for every member of the family. Guests will also have the opportunity to get up close and personal with some colorful undersea creatures including feeding and wading with stingrays.
