Night in Old San Antonio (NIOSA) is put on by and benefits the San Antonio Conservation Society. This year, NIOSA dates are from Tuesday, April 22 through Friday, April 25, 2008 from 5:30pm to 10:30pm each night. Visitors can enjoy ethnic food, music, dance and other activities, while learning about different heritages.

The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Sacramento Kings on Monday to remain in the third seed in the Western Conference standings. Although the Kings (38-43) entered the game without a chance to make the playoffs, they fought the Spurs throughout the game. The Spurs, who trailed by six late in the fourth, rallied behind a strong effort from Tony Parker. Parker had 32 points and 11 assists for the Spurs, who won 101-98 and improved their record to 55-26.

The Spurs play their last game of the regular season on Friday against the Utah Jazz. The game, which will be played in the AT&T Center, will be an extremely pivotal game. If the Spurs win, they are guaranteed no worse than the third seed. If they lose, San Antonio could drop all the way down to sixth.

The 2008 playoffs will begin this weekend. The Spurs will play their first postseason game on either Saturday or Sunday. The playoff schedule will be announced on Wednesday night. We will keep you updated here on the schedule. You can order playoff tickets for the first two home games on Spurs.com.
