Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving Dinner
Nearly 25,000 people are fed at the annual Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving Dinner each year. Over 4,000 volunteers are needed to put on the event. - 11/23/07 - 11/24/07
Mercado de Paz
At Mercado de Paz, over 75 artists from the San Antonio community offer unique gifts, crafts and artwork, centering around the themes of peace, social justice, cultural diversity and ecological concerns. This event takes place the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving each year. - 11/23/07
Holiday River Parade & Lighting Ceremony
The FORD Holiday River Parade & Lighting Ceremony kicks off the Christmas season in San Antonio as 122,000 lights are turned on, which illuminate the San Antonio River Walk every night through January 1st. The lighting is at 7:00pm, followed by a one-hour spectacular river parade. - Various Dates
