About Johnnie Clay:
San Antonio native Johnnie Clay did not aspire to be a writer growing up. But in his mid-30's, after several dead-end jobs, he sent off a couple writing samples to a publisher who thought they were pretty good.

In 2002, Clay had the opportunity to write for HoopsHype, covering the San Antonio Spurs playoff run and a writer was born.

Johnnie Clay Begins Writing Sci-Fi:
Late in 2002, Clay began delving into the Sci-Fi realm, coming up with the idea of a series of nine novels (now perhaps eight due to Pluto being reduced to a 'dwarf planet'). In 2004 his first manuscript was sent off to his publisher, Publish America.
Johnnie Clay's Published Novels:
  • "Time...To Begin" (released July 2004)
  • "Double Time" (released April 2006)
  • Untitled (expected release late 2007)
Where to Buy Johnnie Clay's Books:
Review: "Time...to Begin":
"This book takes you with the writer, as his character experiences some truly amazing things. It is definately worth the readers "time" to read this book. Can't wait for the next one!!!" -- Beth Johnson (Amazon.com)
Johnnie Clay's Favorite Author:
Janet Evanovich - known for such books as "One for the money" and her latest release, "Twelve Sharp."
Johnnie Clay's Thoughts:
"Everything around inspires me. Whether it's chatting with someone online or meeting people out in the city, somehow it makes its way into my books. Eventually I might branch out into another genre, but right now I'm just having fun in the sci-fi world."
