Seguin hosts its holiday parade Thursday, December 1st, kicking off the holiday season with its annual lighting of downtown and Central Park. More than 70 lighted parade entries are participating, including local marching bands, vendors, entertainment and more. Kids will get to visit with Santa in a Winter Wonderland snow play area. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m.
On Friday, December 2, Sip N Stroll starts in downtown Seguin. Participating stores will offer free cocoa to those who purchase a specialized Kitty Keller mug. Santa and the Christmas carolers will be on hand. Horse drawn carriage rides through downtown will also be available. Admission is free. Additional fees for rides may play. The stroll runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.Parade: Thursday, December 1: 6:30 p.m.

The Pearl Brewery hosts its second annual Tamales! Holiday Festival, one of San Antonio's newest holiday traditions. In addition to savory tamales for sale, there will be contests, demos, play areas for kids, entertainment, a farmer's market and much more at the Pearl. The Office of Historic Preservation kicks off the holiday season with a guided tour through some of San Antonio’s historic sites recently-restored Casa Navarro, Municipal Plaza, the Atlee B. Ayers Building, the River Walk, the Crockett Hotel and more.
Those who attend will be able to enjoy the new LED lights along the Riverwalk and throughout downtown. The route is about 2.5 miles. Runners and walkers will be divided up according to experience.Thursday, December 8 at 6 p.m.
