The Gay Pride Block Party and Parade unofficially marks the end of Gay Pride Month in San Antonio.
The Gay Pride Block Party and Parade unofficially marks the end of Gay Pride Month in San Antonio.
The block party and parade will take play on Sunday, July 1, 2007 from 6:00pm-10:00pm along the 1400 block of North Main. This is the fourth year for the block party in San Antonio. The community celebration has dozens of booths manned by San Antonio GLBT organizations, offering information. There will also be at least eight food and beverage booths, music, entertainment and games.
The Parade:
The Gay Pride San Antonio Parade begins at 9:00pm in front of Essence Bar at 1010 North Main Street. The parade travels north on Main Street to Petticoat Junction at Dewey Street.
