Mercado de Paz (Peace Market)

About Mercado de Paz:
Mercado de Paz is a two-day annual event held in San Antonio on the Friday and Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend.

Over 75 artists from the San Antonio community offer unique gifts, crafts and artwork, centering around the themes of peace, social justice, cultural diversity and ecological concerns.

The 28th Annual Mercado de Paz takes place November 23-24, 2007.

Mercado de Paz Location & Hours:
  • Esperanza Peace and Justice Center
  • 922 San Pedro Avenue
  • 10:00am - 6:00pm
Mercado de Paz Admission:
Admission to the Mercado de Paz open air market is free. Visitors can find pottery, rugs, clothing, jewelry, artwork and more at very reasonable prices. More than 3,000 shoppers per day are expected.
