About Blue Star Contemporary Art Center:
Blue Star began in 1985 as a place in San Antonio for the exhibition of the work of contemporary artists. The center was opened in a 1920's warehouse near the San Antonio River.

Through the efforts of vounteers and local artists, Blue Star has grown to become a top-notch cultural arts center. Currently Blue Star has four distinct gallery spaces where over twenty exhibitions are showcased each year. Blue Star is also involved in a variety of outreach programs which nuture and promote art in the San Antonio community.

Blue Star Contemporary Art Center Location:
The center is located at 116 Blue Star, near downtown San Antonio's King William Historic District. You can contact Blue Star at (210) 227-6960.

If you are interested in submitting work for possible exhibition at Blue Star, please download the Artist Submissions Form and mail it along with 5–10 slides and/or a CD to:

Blue Star Contemporary Art Center Hours:
The gallery is open Wednesday through Sunday 12:00pm - 6:00pm. The center is also open for special events at various other times.
