Central Loop is one of the sixteen major geographical areas that make up San Antonio. The Central Loop area is what most people dub "downtown San Antonio."
It's referred to as a loop because Interstates 35, 37 and US Highway 90 form a lopsided rectangular loop around the downtown San Antonio and surrounding areas.
IH-35 boundaries the loop on the north and west, IH-37 to the east and US-90 to the south.

For bars and clubs, there are many downtown bars and lounges on and around the River Walk.
