About HemisFair Park: HemisFair Park was built in San Antonio to host the 1968 World's Fair. Renovated over the years, the park offers a beautiful oasis as an escape from the city streets of downtown San Antonio.

The 15-acre park is landscaped with water fountains and waterfalls and has many attractions for visitors and residents alike.

HemisFair Park is located at 200 S. Alamo in downtown San Antonio.

Tower of the Americas: The highlight of HemisFair Park is the 750-foot Tower of Americas. Take a trip up the elevator to the observation deck where you can enjoy panoramic city view. You can also have lunch or dinner at the revolving restaurant at the top.
HemisFair Playground: A wonderful wooden playground, built entirely by volunteers, was added to the park in 1990. This play area includes a space tunnel, castle and much more. The playground is located near the Alamo Street entrance.
More About HemisFair Park: HemisFair Park also includes the Institute of Texan Cultures and Instituto Cultural de Mexico where visitors can learn about culture and history of the area.

The park is open daily from dawn until dusk. Both the Tower of the Americas and Institute of Texan Cultures have paid parking lots available. You can also find city parking garages and lots in the area.
