The 125,000 square-foot facility opened in December 2006 at the cost of $35 million. Palladium Location: The Palladium is located in San Antonio at The Rim shopping center at the intersection of IH-10 West and La Cantera Parkway, just north of Loop 1604. About IMAX : Seeing an IMAX movie is a spectacular experience with images several stories high and wrap-around digital sound. IMAX theatres show special 2D and 3D movies that make you really feel like you are in the film rather than just watching. More Than Just Movies at the Palladium: Greek architecture and decor highlight the grand lobby. In the center of the lobby is Cafe Gelato, serving freshly made gelato and Starbucks Coffee. For the kids, Olympic Games, the Palladium's arcade is a lot of fun. In addition there is a nice restaurant, Taverna, which serves pasta, pizza and other specialties. The restaurant also offers wine (by the bottle or glass), beer, margaritas and other drinks. Upstairs, there are two-adult only theaters, which can be reserved. The centerpiece of the second floor is The Agora Bar, which has a nice outdoor patio area with panoramic views. Palladium Ticket Prices: Regular Feature Films
