SARR Women's 5K Run/Walk

About SARR Women's 5K Run/Walk:
This annual benefit run takes place in San Antonio every July. The run/walk is put on by the San Antonio Road Runners. The 2007 event will take place on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 7:30am.
2007 Benefit:
The family of San Antonio runners Ariel and Liza Galvan were involved in a serious car accident in February. To show support, this year's Women's 5K Run/Walk is dedicated to the Galvan family. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to assist the family with medical expenses. The run will also benefit the SARR Scholarship Fund.
Race Information:
The race will begin at Basse Road and Nacogdoches in Lincoln Heights. The pre-event and post-event festivities will take place at the H-E-B at 999 E. Basse Road.
  • $20 - Registration Fee
  • $18 - SARR Members and Military
  • $22 - Race Day Registration
Free t-shirts, refreshments and door prizes will be handed out.

You can register in person at any of the three Roger Soler's Sports stoers, Fleet Feet Sports, Run.Gear.Run, or Athlete's Foot. You can also register online at active.com.
