Guide Review - Chris Madrid's Burgers

Their delicious made-to-order burgers are some of the best in San Antonio. They come in two sizes, regular and macho. Chris Madrid's also serve chicken sandwiches, chalupas, nachos and fresh cut fries. But you are nuts if you eat anything other than a burger here.

The Tostada Burger (Reg: $4.39, Macho $5.49) is great - a delicious burger topped with beans, chips, onions, cheese and salsa. If you like it hot, choose the Flaming Jalapeno, it's comes with lettuce, tomato, onions, mustard and big jalapeno slices.

It's a fun, casual place to hang out with a group of friends or the family. They take reservations for private parties Monday through Thursday. Chris Madrid's also serves great frozen margaritas and a good selection of ice cold beer.

I recommend you go mid-afternoon for an early dinner. Because it's oftentimes very crowded during normal meal times. The parking lot is small and cramped but it's definitely worth the hassle.

There's not that much difference in price between a regular size and macho burger (which is much bigger). I suggest you pay the extra and take home what you can't finish.
