Guide Review - Golden Wok Chinese Restaurant

The atmosphere is delightful at Golden Wok, everything from the beautiful Chinese decor throughout the restaurant to watching the chef prepare your "Create Your Own" stir fry in the open kitchen.

But the best thing about Golden Wok is definitely the dim sum! Dim sum is very hard to find in San Antonio. At Golden Wok, they serve excellent, freshly made dim sum every day. Dim sum is very small portions of a variety of foods like dumplings and rolls which you can order by the piece. You can have dim sum anytime, but the best variety is on weekends when it is pushed around on carts and you can pick which pieces you want as they roll by your table.

Golden Wok has a beautiful private dining room with a separate bar that can accommodate up to 100 guests.

Best bargains at Golden Wok are the lunch specials served daily, where you can get a full Chinese meal, including soup and appetizer, for $6.50.

Save room for dessert - the Chocolate Fantasy cake is huge and could feed a whole group. They also have delicious banana spring rolls, served with ice cream and caramel sauce.
