City South Arts festival is an annual event featuring the talents of local San Antonio high school students in the areas of music, culinary and visual arts.
The festival helps area high school students earn scholarship money for their future.
The 2007 City South Arts Festival takes place Sunday, March 25, 2007 at the Brooks City Base. Vendors will be selling foods and drinks. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. No coolers are allowed.

Grammy award winning Jazz artist Justo Almario will perform at the festival.
Culinary students will compete in an Iron Chef style competition. The event will be judged by members of the San Antonio Chefs Association for a chance to win scholarships to St. Phillip's and other area culinary schools.
The top two students in the area of visual arts will have an exhibition featured at the Blue Star Contemporary Art Center. Many others will be selling their artwork for scholarship money.
A silent auction and concert will take place at the City South Arts Festival Kick-Off Party on Friday, March 23, 2007.
The event will begin at 7:00pm at Blue Star Contemporary Art Center and feature a special concert by Henry Brun and the Latin Plazerz with special guest, Grammy award winning jazz artist, Just Almario.
Visitors will have a chance to bid on students' artwork in a silent auction and enjoy hor'dourves created by students participating in Sunday's culinary competition.
