About Cornyation: Cornyation takes place each April as part of San Antonio's 10-day, city-wide celebration, Fiesta® San Antonio. Cornyation is one of the most entertaining events at Fiesta.

Dressed in outrageous costumes and makeup, the performers poke fun at politicians, current events, and even Fiesta royalty. King Anchovy and his court are crowned at Cornyation each year.

Who Benefits: Cornyation is put on by a group of very dedicated volunteers. 90% of box office receipts benefit such organizations as SAAF (San Antonio AIDS Foundation), Beat AIDS (Black Effort Against the Threat of AIDS), Krissie's Kids and The Battered Women's Shelter.
