Fiesta Flambeau Fandango 2.6-Mile Run

From Kori Ellis, for About.com

About Fiesta Flambeau Fandango Run: Fiesta Flambeau® Fandango Run takes place during Fiesta San Antonio each year. The race occurs on the evening of the Fiesta Flambeau Night Parade, along the 2.6 mile parade route right before the parade begins. The run begins at Broadway and Grayson and ends at the corner of Santa Rosa and Martin Street. Post-race festivities take place at Columbus Park on the corner of San Saba and Martin Street.

Runners are encouraged to wear costumes or run in groups. Costume awards, music and refreshments highlight the fun event.

Who Benefits: The Fiesta Flambeau® Fandango Run is sponsored by the San Antonio RoadRunners (SARR), who promote health and fitness in San Antonio by sponsoring many runs throughout the year.
