About Fiesta Gartenfest: Fiesta Gartenfest is a festival put on by Beethoven Maennerchor at Fiesta San Antonio each spring. The four-day celebration features entertainment from Beethoven Maennerchor, as well as several other German groups in the area.
Visitors can also enjoy terrific German food, beer and wine at the event.
About Beethoven Maennerchor: San Antonio is very rich in German culture. Beethoven Maennerchor is one of the oldest German singing societies in the state of Texas. Their mission is to preserve German song, music, language and culture in the San Antonio area.
2008 Fiesta Gartenfest: Fiesta Gartenfest takes place at Beethoven Garten, located at 422 Pereida Street. The Beethoven Maennerchor group also floats down the river in the Texas Cavaliers River Parade on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 7:00pm.
