About Irish Heritage Day: Irish Heritage Day is sponsored by The Irish Cultural Society of San Antonio and takes place in San Antonio each March.

The celebration includes Irish music, dance, food and culture. Admission is FREE to everyone.

Irish Heritage Day Location: Irish Heritage Day takes place at Leon Valley Community Center at 6427 Evers Road.

10th Annual Irish Heritage Day will be held on Sunday March 9, 2008 from Noon to 5:00pm.

Irish Heritage Day Music and Dance: Visitors listen to the Irish harp and other traditional Irish music, as well as watch Irish step dancers.
Irish Heritage Day Arts and Crafts: Get first hand experience with Irish arts and crafts:
  • Make a "St. Brigid Cross"
  • Get a Celtic Tattoo
  • View Celtic Jewelry
Irish Heritage Day Food and Customs: At the Irish Heritage Day festival, you will eat Irish scones and soda bread while enjoying the day's activities. You can also learn traditional Irish customs, look into your Irish roots and listen to fascinating Irish folktales and lore.
