About the Events: A Taste of the Northside and the Fiesta Open are part of San Antonio's city-wide, 10-day celebration, Fiesta San Antonio, which occurs each spring.

The day begins with the Fiesta Open annual charity golf tournament and ends with the food festival - A Taste of the Northside. These events take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Canyon Springs Golf Club.

Who Benefits: A Taste of the Northside and the Fiesta Open benefit Brighton, Inc. Brighton provides services for children in San Antonio with disabilities.
About Fiesta Open:
  • Registration: 7:30am
  • Shotgun start: 9:00am
  • Single player: $250
  • Brighton partner foursome: $800
Single player price includes golf, lunch, a goody bag and one Taste of the Northside ticket. Brighton partner price includes golf foursome, lunch, goody bags, hole sponsor sign and four Taste of Northside tickets.
About Taste of the Northside: A Taste of the Northside is a festival where you will enjoy delicious food, wine and drinks from a variety of local San Antonio restaurants, including Bin 55, The Melting Pot, Zio's, Blue Cactus Cafe and more.

The event boasts a festive atmosphere with samples from local restaurants, over 40 wine varieties to taste, a raffle and silent auction to benefit the children and families Brighton serves.

About Taste of the Northside and Fiesta Open Parking: Free parking is available at Canyon Ridge Elementary School, 20522 Stone Oak Parkway. Shuttles will be running to Canyon Springs Golf Club every 5 minutes.
