This year's August back-to-school tax-free weekend will be held from Friday, August 20th through Sunday, August 22nd, 2010.

- School supplies under $100
- Up to 10 backpacks under $100 (this does NOT include messenger bags or wheeled backpacks unless they have backpack straps to be carried on the shoulders in addition to wheels)
- Uniforms and school clothes under $100 per piece
- Baby clothes
- Raincoats
- Underclothes
- Work clothes
- Shoes
- Pajamas
- Jerseys
- Gym clothes
- Diapers (adults and baby)
Can I Use Layaway Tax Free?:
Yes! If the store that you are shopping at offers layaway, you may put eligible tax-free items in layaway with a deposit and pay the balance at a later date (according to that store's policies) and still not pay the sales tax on the items.
