Shopping doesn't have to mean an indoor mall. There are several major San Antonio outdoor shopping malls in San Antonio that will keep you plenty busy and give you lots of retail options.
Lots of national retailers like Bed, Bath and Beyond, restaurants like La Madalene, and even a first-class movie theater with stadium seating await you at Huebner Oaks. Go to the linked website for occasional special promotions that the center runs and email alerts for sales and other events.
Strap on your comfortable walking shoes because the Alamo Quarry Market is a large outdoor center that includes everything from bookstores to a movie theater, an arcade to a day spa. Standouts include one of only two P.F. Chang's in San Antonio, the only Whole Foods Market in the city, and one of the best ice cream parlors in town, Amy's Ice Cream.
If you are looking for fine, upscale shopping and dining, look no further than the posh Shops at La Cantera. Offerings include Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Apple Store, Tiffany & Co., Sephora, Helzberg Diamonds, Betsey Johnson, and Avalon Day Spa to name just a few.
Forum at Olympia Parkway
The Forum at Olympia Parkway is actually located in Selma, which is a near suburb of San Antonio. It has a great mixture of anchor stores like Super Target mixed in with smaller retailers like Old Navy, GNC, Best Buy and World Market. There is surprisingly no official website as of yet. You can get information on the Forum though by calling (210) 566-7604.
